Title |
Obligation by Robert Bruce of Blairhall granting that he had received from Sir Alexander Clark of Stentoun, knight, provost of Edinburgh, on behalf of Thomas, Earl of Elgin, Lord Bruce of Kinloss, the 47 writs contained in an Inventory which precedes and which he obliges himself to produce before the Lords of Council and Session or any other judge in Scotland before whom any action shall be pursued concerning the lands of Pittdoneis Easter & Wester, and particularly the three writs therein mentioned, which in addition to the said lands deal with the patronage of the kirk of Torrie. Witnesses, Johnne Bruce, his natural son, James Prymrois, eldest lawful son of Mr. David Prymroise, Advocate, James Kennedy and Alexander Morisone, writer, Edinburgh. The said Alexander Morisone and Robert Nicoll, writer, Edinburgh, are the writers of the Obligation.
