Title |
Letters of Reversion by Patrik Monteith in Schannochill, lawful son of Johnne Monteith of Kep, granting that the town and lands of Achyle, extending to a 20 shillingland of old extent lying in the stewartry of Monteyth and sheriffdom of Perthe, sold to him by James Stirling of Balvile with consent of Margaret Haldane, his spouse, should be redeemable by payment of the sum of £2000 Scots in the parish kirk of Striviling called the Rude Kirk, on 40 days warning; consignation if necessary to be in the hands of the thesaurar, dean of guild or one of the bailies of the burgh of Striviling, and redemption being suspended for 4 years from Whitsunday 1633.
