Title |
Charter by James, Lord Levingstoun of Almond, whereby in implement of a contract (of the date of these presents) entered into between him and Walter Murray of Colmesliehill, brother-german of Sir Patrick Murray of Eliebank, knight, he granted to him and his heirs male and assignees whomsoever, the lands of Parklie, with the teind sheaves thereof included which were never separated from the stock, lying within the sheriffdom of Linlithgow, in special warrandice of the lands and barony of Levingstoun, with the mill thereof, so that he should have access thereto in the event of his being evicted from the principal lands through any deed proceeding from Alexander, Earl of Linlithgow the granter's author, or any of his predecessors in said lands: To be held de me for payment of one penny in name of blench-farm: With precept of sasine.
