Title |
Summons Under the Signet of King Charles I. obtained at the instance of Adame Cunynghame of Woodhall, advocate, (1) discharging the sub-commissioners of the presbytery of Dumfreis for valuation of teinds, their convener and clerk, from participating further in the valuation of the stock and teind of the complainer's forty shilling land of Dargavell on the ground that the place appointed by them for the valuation is remote and distant from the pursuer's residence and inconvenient for him to lead proof at; (2) charging (blank) to compear before the commissioners for the Surrenders and Teinds at Halyruidhous for proving the just worth of the stock and the teind, parsonage and vicarage, of the said lands of Dargavell; and (3) charging Robert, Earl of Nithisdaill and Robert, Earl of Roxburgh, tacksmen and titulars of the teinds of said lands, and Mr. Thomas Ramsay, minister of the kirk of Dumfreis, pretended parson and vicar of the said parish, to appear before said commissioners at said place.
