Tack (in the form of a contract) between Mr. James Knox, minister and vicar at Kelso and Maxweill, on the one part, and Thomas Ker of Caveris, on the other part, whereby the former sets to the latter the vicarage teinds of the towns and lands of Woster Softlaw and Woster Woddene, lying in the parish of Maxweill and sheriffdom of Roxburgh, for three years from Whitsunday 1631 and "thrie zeirris eftir thrie zeiris" at a yearly rent of £15 Scots.
