Title |
I. Brieve from the Chancery of Charles I. in the same terms as the preceding for ascertaining what lands and annualrents Robert Keith, son of the late John Keith ac nepos fratris attavi tritavi of William Earl Marischal, Lord Keith and Altrie, was vest and seised in at the time of his death and if the said Earl was his nearest and lawful heir male. II. Certified Copy of Retour of Inquest made in the sheriff court of Aberdeen on 29 May 1630 by Mr. Alexander Paip, sheriff depute of the sheriffdom of Aberdeen, finding that William, Earl Marischal, was nearest and lawful heir male of the said Robert Keith, who died at the faith and peace of Robert I. King of Scots.
