Title |
Letters of Reversion by David Joynkine, merchant, burgess of Edinburgh, and Margaret Speir, his spouse, granting that the annual-rent of 900 merks furth of the lands and barony of Levingstoune, in which they were infeft by Sir James Levingstoune of that Ilk, knight, conform to GD86/511-2, should be redeemable on payment of (1) the principal sum of 9000 merks Scots and (2) the sum of 450 merks of annualrent thereon for the term immediately preceding the redemption, in the parish kirk of Edinburgh called St. Giles Kirk, on 60 days warning; consignation if necessary to be in the hands of the thesaurer or dean of guild of the burgh of Edinburgh.
