Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of John Buchanan, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating a precept in a charter (dated at Kilmaronnok 14th May 1628) by Dame Agnes Hay, Countess of Glencairne, with consent of James, Earl of Glencairne, her spouse, granting to William Buchanan, son of Walter Buchanan in Ballat, one-half of an annualrent of 50 merks Scots furth of the lands of Renroyes, lying in the earldom of Lenox and sheriffdom of Stirling. Sasine given upon the ground of said lands on 30th May 1628 by Thomas Buchanan of Garbeth, bailie of the granter |
