Precept from the Chancery of King Charles I, addressed to the sheriff and his bailies of Fyiff, for infefting Alexander Syme as heir of Mr. Alexander Syme, advocate, burgess of Edinburgh, his father, in the Briglandis of Innerteill with their pertinents lying near the West Bridge of Kirkaldie within the constabulary of Kingorne: taking security for (1) the sum of £3 Scots for the ferms (extending to 40 shillings annually) of the said lands which were in the hands of the king for the space of one year and one term without sasine being recovered, and (2) 10 shillings Scots for a double of the blench-ferm.
