Title |
Disposition by Williame Grahame, fiar of Boquhople, with consent of Margaret Sterling, his spouse, whereby, for payment of the sum of £2000 Scots, he bound and obliged himself to infeft James Sterling, fiar of Achyle, his brother-in-law, in (1) the 5 merkland of old extent of Nether Glenny, and the 22 shilling and 2 penny land of Drongzie, with the mill thereof, lying in the stewartry of Monteithe and sheriffdom of Perthe; and (2) the 22 shilling and 2 penny land of Boquhople (sometime occupied by the late Robert Norrie of Boquhople) lying within the said stewartry and sheriffdom in special warrandice of the lands of Drongzie; with procuratory of resignation for resigning the lands of Nether Glenny into the hands of Archibald, Earl of Argyle or Archibald, Lord of Lorne, his son, and the lands of Drongzie and Boquhople into the hands of James Norrie of Boquhople, and Alexander Norrie, fiar thereof; his son. Further he (1) sold and disponed to the grantee "the haill rid land and fulzie" of the said lands of Nether Glenny and Drongzie with the steelbow corns thereupon, extending to two chalders of blackcorn (of which one chalder is in the hands of William Gylloch in Glenny and the other in the hands of Donald McCoschrieche, there); (2) assigned to him the maills and duties of said lands for the crop and year 1627, extending to 15 bolls oatmeal and 5 bolls "full met beir" for the lands of Glenny, and two bolls bear, 2 "ruch wedderis" and 44 shillings for the lands of Drongzie; and (3) bound and obliged himself to obtain his superior's confirmation of the infeftment in favor of Thomas Grahame of Boquhople, his father, and also of his own infeftment, in the lands of Nether Glenny before 1st May following.
