Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of James Campbell, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating a precept of sasine (addressed to Robert Cunynghame of Cassiltoun, bailie of the burgh of Kilmaires), contained in a charter (dated at Edinburgh 25 April 1627) by Sir William Cuninghame of Caprintoun granting to John Cunynghame, Margaret Knox and John Cunynghame, their son, as in No. GD86/496.
Sasine given by the said bailie upon the ground of said lands and at the mill thereof on 8th May 1627 |

Witnesses to the sasine Brice Sempill of Craigbaitt, sheriff-depute of Renfrew, William Cunynghame, brother-german of James, Earl of Glencairne, Robert Cunynghame, skinner, burgess of Kilmaires, James Dalzell, servitor of the said Brice Sempill, Walter Campbell, servitor of the said John Cunynghame and Mathew Fultoun.
