Charter of Sale by David Craufurd of Kers whereby in implement of a contract (of even date herewith) entered into between him and Quintin Craufurd in Siliehoill and Margaret Wylie, his spouse, he granted to them and the longer liver of them in conjunct infeftment and to the heirs lawfully procreated or to be procreated between them, whom failing, to the nearest heirs and assignees of the said Quintin whomsoever, the 33 shilling and four penny land of Glenheid (occupied by Peter McAdame) and the 6 shilling and 8 penny land of old extent of Shallocht (occupied by Thomas McDill) lying in the [parish of Stratoun], earldom of Carrik and sheriffdom of Air: To be held of the granter in blench farm: With Precept of Sasine addressed to David Shaw in Chalmerstoun. Signed by the granter and witnesses.
The charter is much injured by damp and a large part of it is indecipherable.
