Title |
Instrument of Sasine (faint) under the hand of William Wodrop, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, in favor of John Montgomerie, fiar of Brigend, and Elizabeth Baxter, his future spouse, and the longer liver of them in conjunct infeftment, of the four merkland of Constabilland, described in the preceding charter following upon a precept of sasine addressed to Mr. Robert Montgomerie of Makbehill, bailie of the granter, who gave sasine upon the ground of said lands on 30 June 1626 |

Witnesses to the charter containing the precept same as preceding charter. Witnesses to the sasine David Kirkwod in Kirkwodstoun, Robert Conuten(?) in McComstoun, John Slowane in Burnefute and John Conynghame, there.
Registered in the General Register of Sasines on 19th August 1626, Vol. 20, fol. 28.
Written at the foot of the Instrument:-
"James Levingstoun servitour to the quene of Bohemia". |
