Title |
Charter by Alexander, Earl of Linlithgow, whereby in implement of a contract entered into with Sir James Levingstoun of Brighous, knight, gentleman of the King's bed chamber and colonel of an English Regiment in the United Provinces of the Netherlands, he granted to him the lands of Mekill Parklie in special warrandice of the lands and barony of Levingstoun as described in the preceding precept: To be held de nobis for payment to the granter of one penny Scots in name of blench-farm and to the over superior of the lands of Mekill Parklie the feu-farm duties of said lands.
