Title |
Precept of Clare Constat by James Hammiltoun of Parklie, addressed to Andrew Myln, burgess of Linlythqw, for infefting Alexander, Earl of Linlithgow, as heir of Alexander, Earl of Linlithgow, his father, in the lands of Mekill Parklie, with the teind sheaves included which had never been separated from the stock, lying within the sheriffdom of Linlithgow, in special warrandice of the lands and barony of Levingstoun with the mill thereof in which the late Earl was infeft following on a contract entered into between him on the one part, and Patrick Hammiltoun of Levingstoun and Ewpham, his spouse, parents of the granter, on the other part: which lands were held of the granter in blench-ferm for payment of one penny and of £8 of feu-ferm to Ludovic, Duke of Lennox, the over superior.
