Charter of Sale by Mary Mountgomerie, lawful daughter of the late Hugh Montgomerie of Haissilheid, and Captain Robert Abercrumbie portioner of Bonyngtoune, her spouse, for his interest, granting to Hugh Mountgomerie, brother of the said Mary, his heirs and assignees whomsoever, the fifty six shilling and eight penny land of Thridpairt of Cambuskeytht and the five merkland of old extent of Middil Cambuskeytht with their pertinents, lying in the bailiary of Cunynghame and sheriffdom of Air: Which lands were apprised from the late John Hammiltoune of Cambuskeytht by the said Hugh Montgomerie and disponed by him to his said daughter by charter dated at Haissilheid 28 March 1601: To be held de me for payment of one penny Scots in name of blench farm: With precept of sasine addressed to Thomas Newine of Munkridding.
