Title |
Heritable Bond by Mr. Johne Hay of Eister Kennet, one of the ordinary clerks of Session, and Margaret Drummond, his spouse, granting that they had received from Gilbert Primrois, second lawful son of James Primrois of Foddismylne, and Issobell Gib, his spouse, the sum of 3000 merks, for which they, with consent of Mr. Alexander Hay, their eldest son and apparent heir, bind themselves to infeft them and the longest liver in conjunct infeftment and their lawful heirs in an annualrent of 300 merks furth of the towns and lands of Eister Kennet and Craigtoun lying in the parish and regality of Clakmannane, redeemable on payment of the principal sum. Further, they, as principals, and the said Mr. Alexander, and James Hay, their second son, as cautioners, bind themselves to repay the principal sum at the terms and in the proportions mentioned.
