Title |
Charter by Mathew, Earl of Levenax, Lord Dernly, granting to Alexander Conynghame, son and heir apparent of Andrew Conynghame of Drumquhassile, and Margaret Park, his spouse and the longer liver of them in conjunct infeftment, the one-half of the lands of Killermen with pertinents, lying in the earldom of Levenax and sheriffdom of Striveling, which pertained to the said Margaret and Elizabeth Park, her sister german, and which they resigned into the hands of the granter at Edinburgh: To be held to the grantees and the heirs procreated or to be procreated between them, whom failing to the lawful and nearer heirs or assignees of the said Margaret whomsoever, de nobis of the granter and his successors in fee and heritage: Rendering therefor annually one-half pound of pepper and one-half pound of cumin at Martinmas on the ground of said lands in name of blench-farm si petantur tantum.
