Title |

Description |
The following Certificates are appended:- (1) Certificate by Robert McKynnell, messenger, certifying that upon 30th April 1621 he took the complainers oath, and that upon 1st May thereafter he lawfully warned and charged Thomas Newall in Tounfit of Brounskaithe, Jhone Newall in Know, William Coupland in Brounskaithe, John Gilmour, there, James McKynnell, there, John Gaw, there, and Harbert Gaw, there, in terms of the foregoing letters. Witnesses, Williame Maxvell of Kirkhous, Robert Carrutheris, son of Thomas Carrutheris in Bruntskaithe, John McMyn and John Boyd, servitors of the said Adame Cuninghame; and (2) Certificate by John Mundell, messenger, certifying that on 10th May 1621, at the Market Cross of Drumfries, he denounced the above parties as rebels and put them to the horn.
