'Rycht assuired freind, I am sorie that cowris of incuning [incuming] to this cowntrie keipit nocht as ze concludit, that I mycht have had content in that quhilk I have so lang longed for; bot my occation of staying heir will nocht exceid fyve days, swa that all most rest in that till nixt meiting quhilk I wische may be well, I have willed thes to quhom I have left my affairis in quhat consernis me to use zour advyse, and quhat law materis occuris ze will bothe cair thame zour self and give thes quhom I have left information quhat sowld be done, as I know zour love to me and as I concredeit them to zow quhilk I sall be bothe redie and willing to aquyte.
