Title |
Charter of Resignation by Thomas, Earl of Melros, Lord Byris and Binning, president of the supreme court of Scotland and secretary to the king, granting to David Weymes of Fengask and the heirs male lawfully procreated or to be procreated of his body, whom failing, to Henry Weymes of Fudie, his brother-german, and the heirs male to be lawfully procreated of his body, whom failing, to the heirs and assignees of the said David whomsoever, the templar lands of Colleistoun with houses, pasturages, commonties etc. lying in the parish of Scony and sheriffdom of Fyffe; which lands Mr Alexander Levingstoun, advocate, with consent of James Ballantyne of Spittell from whom they were apprised, resigned into the hands of the granter at Edinburgh for new infeftment to be given to the said David Weymes as above: To be held de nobis, rendering therefor on the morrow after the feast of Michaelmas, at Tempilhill near the burgh of Cupar, 12 pence Scots in name of feu-ferm: With precept of sasine.
