Title |
Tack by Mr. Robert Howie, D.D., provost of the New College within the city of St. Androis, Mr. James Blair, D.D., Mr. Patrick Melvill, D.D., and Mr. James Wedderburne, principal masters of the said college, with consent of Johne, Archbishop of St. Androis, whereby they set to David, Lord Carnegy of Kynnard, during his lifetime and after his decease to Johne Carnegy, his third lawful son and his heirs male and of tailzie, the teind sheaves of parsonage and the small teinds of the vicarage of the lands and barony of Wlishevin and of the lands of Heichame, with the salmon fishings, fish boats and other fishings of the said lands, lying in the parish of Nether Breyok and sheriffdom of Forfar; with entry to the teind sheaves at 1 August and to the small teinds from 3rd May and to endure for the lifetime of the granters and for 5 years thereafter, paying yearly £53: 6: 8 at Candlemas for the teind sheaves and £16 for the small teinds on 3rd May ("Ruid-day").
