Witnesses, Mr. James Seytoun of Spitteltoun, Thomas Newtoun in Ballentone, Andrew Paterson, there, Archibald Don, lawful son of Ninian Done, there, and Adam Galbrethe, lawful son of Robert Galbraith of Culcreuche.
The instrument is dated 8th February 1614 but the regnal year is given as the 50th and 14th. The date of the charter containing the precept of sasine is correctly inserted. |
