Title |
Contemporary Copy of Instrument of Sasine under the hand of John Buchanan, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating a precept of clare constat (dated at Roystoun in England 22nd January 1614) by Ludovick, Duke of Lennox, addressed to Robert Cunynghame, brother german of Mr. John Cunynghame of Fynwick, his bailie in that part, for infefting John Cunynghame of Drumquhassill, as heir of John Cunynghame of Drumquhassill, his grandfather, in the lands of Drumquhassill, Boquhyning, Blairfad, Ledinrew and Craigivairne with the mill thereof, extending to a £16 land of old extent, £5 lands of old extent of Killernane, £3:16/-lands of Eister Mukdock-Mitchell, 2½ merklands of old extent of Gartfarrane alias Connochray, 40 shilling lands of Blairquhoische, 2 merklands of Ballantone, and 5 merklands of Middillinboig lying in the earldom of Lennox and sheriffdom of Stirling; and in the £5 lands of old extent of Portnellane-Galbraith and Tullochane lying in the said earldom and sheriffdom of Dumbartane, with the islands in Lochlomond adjacent thereto.
