The wairning of Glenea 1616. 3 April: Johne Makmyn warned James Johnestoun of Lochthows personally apprehended there. Witnesses, Johnestoun of Corheid and Williame Johnestoun "callit of Hesliebie", servitor to the said James Johnestoun. 4 April: He also warned Archbald Johnestoun of Clauchrie at his dwelling house there and left a copy. Witnesses, Robert Sawricht in Drumfreis and Roger Kirkpatrik in Auchincairne. 5 April: He also warned Sir Allexainder Kirkpatrik of Kirkmichell, knight, at his dwelling house in Kirkmichell, Edward Adamesoun, miller at Kirkmichell-myle, at his dwelling house in the toun of Kirkmichell, Andro Kirkpatrik in the Wod at his dwelling place there, Allexander Chairtors in Craigscheill at his dwelling place there, Habie Gilespie in Dalcrum at his dwelling place there, Johne Tait at his dwelling place there, Roger Kirkpatrik in the Wod at his dwelling place there, Andro Johnestoun in Nedder Glenkill at his dwelling place there; and Kaithrein Weir in Over Glenkill & Johne Johnestoun, her son, personally apprehended, and left a copy upon the ground of the lands. Witnesses, James Hamiltoun, servitor to David Scott in Dargavell, and Johne Murdoche, servitor to Williame Haliday there. 7 April: Johne Makmyn read the precept of warning at the Kirk of Kirkmichell and left a copy on the kirk door. Witnesses, Adame Johnestoun in Neis, Michall Lawsoun in the toun of Kirkmichell & Johne Kirkpatrik in Clarkholme. The wairning contra the tennandis of Bruniskairthe ffor Meggis Myre 1616. 4 April: Williame Cunnyghame warned Harbert Maxvell of Kilbein personally apprehended within the burgh of Drumfreis. Witnesses, Mark Gledstanis and Mr. Johne Corsand. Johne Makmyn warned Johne Maxwell, son of Harbert Maxvell of Kilbein, personally apprehended in Williame Richarstoun's house in Drumfreis: Witnesses, Williame Cunyghame, son of Harbert Cunyghame, provost of Drumfreis, and Robert Sawricht in Drumfreis. He also warned Johne Kirkpatrik of Freircars at his dwelling place in Freircars: Witnesses, Robert Sawricht in Drumfreis, and Thomas Kirkpatrik, servitor of the said Johne Kirkpatrik; and Johne Wallace in Carizeild at his dwelling house there: Witnesses, Robert Sawricht in Drumfreis and Johne Thomsoun in Carizeild. 5 April: John Makmyn warned Homer Maxvell of Spedoch personally apprehended within the burgh of Drumfreis Cf.
