Title |
Letters of Tack (much injured by damp) by William [Couper], bishop of Galloway, and of the Chapel Royal of Stirling, to which bishoprick the priory of Quhithorn and the abbacies of Glenluce and [Toungland] are united, whereby in consideration of a sum of money paid to him in name of grassum he with consent of his chapter, sets in tack and assedation to William Craufuird of Camlarg for all the days of his life and to his heirs male and assignees whomsoever for 19 years after his decease the teinds (both parsonage and vicarage) fruits, rents, emoluments and duties of the kirk and parish of Dalmellingtoun, which is one of the kirks of the said Chapel Royal and part of the patrimony of said bishoprick, and to which he was to have entry at the feast of Pasch 1615, at a yearly rent of 300 merks Scots. The lessee is bound to relieve the granter of all stents and taxations imposed and to be imposed on said teinds and also of the furnishing of bread and wine for the communion and the repairing and upholding of the [kirk].
