Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Mr. John Paip, clerk of the diocese of Aberdeen, notary public, following upon and narrating a precept of sasine in a charter (dated at Edinburgh 17th January 1615) by Walter Stewart, brother-german of the Laird of Craigiehall, granting to Edmund Smith, tailor, burgess of the Cannogait, the lands described in No. GD86/396; redeemable by Robert Wardlaw on payment of 1400 merks Scots and implement of the conditions contained in the contract entered into between Stewart and Wardlaw and his spouse. Sasine given upon the ground of said lands on 17th January 1615 by James Small, tailor, indweller in Leith |
