Title |
Obligation by Robert Bruice, fiar of Clakmannan, whereby, on the narrative that certain lands within the barony of Clakmannan were assigned to him for his entertainment during the lifetime of his father, Sir Robert Bruice of Clakmannan, knight, he binds and obliges himself not to pursue his father during his lifetime, nor his executors after his death,for warrandice of the rental of said lands, which are valued and extended to 20 chalders, 2 bolls victual viz: Hilend 1 ch. bear, 1 ch. meal; the Kershill, 10 bolls bear, 12 bolls meal; Girthmestoun, 16 bolls bear, 40 bolls meal; Kirkhillend, 4 bolls bear, 4 bolls meal; Corshill, 4 bolls bear; Gartluiff, 8 bolls bear, 1 ch. oats; Dykheads, 12 bolls bear, 12 bolls meal; Lynmyll, 27 bolls malt, 53 bolls meal; Tylliegairthe, 39 bolls bear, 9 bolls wheat, 1 ch. 2 bolls "quheit aittis"; Sanct Brydis Chaipill, 2 bolls bear; and the Walkmyll, 2 bolls bear, 2 bolls meal.
