Witnesses Andrew Gray of Dyninad, James Wemys son of Gavin Weyms of Unthank, Thomas Forman, servitor of the granters, and Alexander Litiljohnne, notary public. The charter is written by James Swane, brother of William Swane, writer to the signet.
Signed by the granter and witnesses. Seal attached. For description see No. GD86/183.
27 August 1614. In dorso:- Renunciation by the said Mariot (or Marioun) Spens, whereby in consideration of certain sums of money paid to her by the said James Bellenden, her son, she renounced and resigned her liferent of above lands in his favour. At Kilmukis 27 August 1614. Witnesses, Robert Alexander in Collistoun, Alexander Litiljohnne, notary public, and James Litiljohnne, his brother. Signed by the granter and witnesses. |
