Title |
Letters of Reversion by David Scott in Darngavell granting that the 25 shilling lands of Mid Dargavell of old extent (occupied by the granter) lying in the parish and sheriffdom of Drumfreis, sold to him by Sir Alexander Kirkpatrik of Kirkmichaell, knight, with consent of Sir Thomas Kirkpatrik of Cloisburne, knight, by contract entered into between them dated at Dargavell 20th August 1607, should be redeemable by payment of the sum of 500 merks Scots within the tolbooth of Drumfreis, on 40 days warning; consignation if necessary to be in the hands of one of the bailies, the thesaurar or the dean of guild of Drumfreis.
