Charter of Sale by Symon, Lord Fraser of Lovatt, with consent of Jean Stewart, his spouse, whereby in implement of a contract (of even date herewith) entered into between them, on the one part, and Alexander Ros in Ballawrait, on the other part, they granted to him and the heirs male lawfully procreated or to be procreated between them whom failing, to his heirs male and kinsmen bearing the surname and arms of Ros and his assignees whomsoever, their town and lands of Ballawrait, extending to a quarter davoch land of old extent, lying in the barony of Dalcors, lordship of Lovatt and sheriffdom of Innerness: To be held de nobis for payment of one penny Scots in name of blench farm: With precept of sasine addressed to Finlay Murray in Ballawrait.
