Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Andrew Broun, clerk of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, narrating that Sir James Scott of Balwerie, knight, in implement of a contract (dated 12th November 1604) entered into between him, on the one part, and Mr. Alexander Syme, advocate, burgess of Edinburgh, and Margaret Tod, his spouse, on the other part, gave sasine manibus suis propriis to the said Alexander Syme and to John Broun, son of the notary, as attorney for the said Margaret Tod, and to the heirs lawfully procreated or to be procreated between them, whom failing, to the heirs and assignees of the said Mr. Alexander whomsoever, of the lands and acres called the Briglandis of Innerteill, lying near the West Bridge of Kirkcaldie within the constabulary of Kingorne and sheriffdom of Fyff. Done upon the ground of said lands on 29th December 1606 |
