Title |
Decreet Arbitral by Philip Nisbet of that Ilk, "dayisman and arbitratour" nominated and chosen by Sir George Home of Wedderburne and Sir Patrick Home of Polwart to decide the controversy regarding the teind corns of the parish of Polwart for the crop of 1605, decerning and ordaining that Sir Patrick should have the corns presently standing in the toun of Polwart, for which he was to grant a discharge to Sir George, who was to have the straw thereof. He was also to "mak declaratioun" to Sir Patrick of the quantity of said corn which Sir George's servants had intromitted with. At West Nisbet 26 August 1606 |
