Title |
Instrument of Sasine (defective) under the hand of Robert Aitkin, clerk of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon a precept of sasine in a charter (dated at Cumnok 15th January 1606) by John Campbell of Shankistoun and George Campbell, his son and apparent heir, granting to Issobell Campbell, eldest daughter of George Campbell of Mongarswode, their two merklands of old extent of Benquhat and Mackcubenis-syid, commonly called Hingand Kailzaird, lying in the parish of Dalmellingtoun, King's Kyle, and sheriffdom of Air. Sasine given by Peter Roger in Mauchlene, bailie in that part, to John Andersoun in Benquhat, attorney for the said Issobell, upon the ground of said lands on 27th January 1606 |
