In Dorso:- Memorandum narrating that William Brown gave up all right and claim which he has in and to the twenty shilling lands of Brigend in virtue of the above Tack into the hands of Hugh Couper and Jonet Broun, his spouse, for all the days of his life. Dated 15 April 1513. Witnesses, Sir John Forman of Ruddyrfurd, knight, Mr. Mathew Steward, vicar of Maybole and Sir William Brown, chaplains, and John Adamsone.
