Title |
Instrument of Resignation and Sasine under the hand of John Masoun, town clerk of Air, narrating that William Rysyd, younger, eldest son of William Rysyd, burgess of Air, procreated between him and Elizabeth Johnestoun, his spouse, with consent of his kinsman James Rysyde, burgess of said burgh, his tutor and curator, in implement of a decreet of redemption obtained by his father against him before the Lords of Council on 5th March, 1603, and of royal letters of horning directed thereupon, resigned the yard described in No. GD86/346, in which he was infeft by his father under reversion containing a crown of the Sun, into the hands of Peter Cwnighame, one of the bailies of Air, in favour of the said William Rysyd, elder, his father, to whom the said bailie gave sasine. Further, narrating that the said William Rysyd, elder, thereafter resigned said yard into the hands of the said bailie in favour of Adam Rysyd, his second son, to whom the bailie gave sasine accordingly under reservation of the liferent of the said resigner.
