Title |
Letters of Procuratory by Robert Galbraith of [Kilcreuch] whereby, in implement of a contract (dated at Glasgow and registered in the Books of the Commissariot of Glasgow 21st [September] 1598) entered into between him and Alexander Conynghame of Craiganis, he constituted procurators (names blank) for resigning the 50 shilling lands of old extent of Over Johnestoun and Boyidiszaird, with houses yards fishings etc., lying within the barony and sheriffdom of Renfrew, into the hands of Henry, Stewart of Scotland, or into the hands of the king as his lawful administrator and tutor, in favour of the said Alexander Conynghame, in liferent, and William Conynghame, his son and apparent heir, and ......... Stewart, his spouse, in conjunct infeftment, and the heirs male lawfully procreated or to be procreated between them, whom failing, the heirs of the said William whomsoever, in fee.
