Title |
Summons (defective) under the signet of James VI. obtained at the instance of Allane Young, son and heir of the late Johne Young, burgess of Couper in Fyff, for the transference to Robert Young, son and heir of the late Johne Young in Kettedie, of the Summons of Reduction (signeted 18 June 1597) raised by him against the said Johne Young in Kettedie for reduction of (1) a pretended Instrument of Sasine (dated 14 September 1662) narrating the sasine given by the late David Jamesoun, sometime bailie of Couper, to David Young, eldest son of the late Johne Young in Kettedie, of (a) half an acre of arable land lying in the burgh roods of Couper between the lands of James Andersoun on the east and the lands of Johne Williamsoun on the west, (b) another half acre of land lying as said is between the lands of the said James Andersoun on the east and of David Baxter on the west, (c) an acre of land lying in the Middill Bonefeild of Couper at the Dryriggis between the lands of David Airth on the east and the lands of the heirs of David Rapho on the west, (d) one of three roods of land lying in that same "sched" between the lands of David Jamesoun on the east and of Simon Greg on the west, (e) other three roods of land lying at the Hilend in the Nather Bonfeild of said burgh between the lands of David Wricht on the west and Thomas Fleschour on the east, (f) other three roods of land lying in the same "sched" between the lands of David Jamesoun on the east and the lands of the heirs of Thomas Williamesone on the west, (g) half an acre of land in the same "sched" between the lands of David Jamesoun on the west and of Simon Greg on the east, (h) half a rood of land in the same "sched" between the lands of the heirs of Thomas Williamsoun on the west and of David Jamesoun on the east, (i) a land and tenement lying on the south side of the Boniget of Couper between the tenement of Thomas Inglis on the west and of James Moreis on the east and (j) a tenement of land with yard and "dowcat" lying on the north side of the said Boniget between the tenement of the heirs of Johne Cornefute fute on the east and of Thomas Jamesoun on the west; and (2) contract and appointment entered into between the said David Young and the said Johne Young anent the alienation of the said lands etc. and the charters &c. following thereupon.
