Title |
Procuratory of Resignation (much injured by damp) by Kathereine Colquhoun, whereby, in consideration of certain sums of money paid to her and Johnne Hendersoun, notary in Pasley, her spouse, by David Cwnynghame of Robertland, superior of the lands aftermentioned, she constituted procurators (names blank) for resigning the 40 shilling land of Wester Foulschaw, lying in the bailiary of Cuninghame and sheriffdom of Air, into the hands of the said superior ad perpetuam remanentiam. The granter apparently derived her right to the subjects through Dame Margaret Cwnynghame, lady [? Luss], her "guidame". At Dumbertane (20) April 1593 |
