Instrument of Sasine under the hand of George Galbrath, presbyter of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating a Precept of Sasine (dated at Edinburgh 12 January 1475-6) by King James III, directed to his sheriff and bailies of Dunbertane, for infefting Malcolm MacLere of Gartone in the lands of Crofftyngay and the Chapelcrofft with pertinents, lying within the earldom of Levenax and bailiary of Dunbartane, which had fallen into the King's hands by reason of bastardy through the death of John de Ayer, bastard, Sasine given by John Culquhon of Camstrodane, sheriff or bailie-depute of Dumbartane, to the said Malcolm MacLere on 18 January 1475-6 |
