Title |
Charter of Resignation by James, Master of Synclar, fiar of the baronies of Ravinscrag and Dysart, granting to Patrick Sinclar, his brother, (1) a salt-pan lying amongst the salt-pans of Dysarte, between the pan of George Crysteson on the west, the sea on the south, the common highway on the north, and the pan of John Lauchtthrisk on the east, and (2) a granary containing 1½ roods of land lying contiguous at the east side of the granters granaries, in the barony of Dysarte and sheriffdom of Fyffe; which salt-pan and granary formerly pertained to David Law, son of Alexander Law, and were resigned by him with consent of Eufame Hacheid, his spouse, into the hands of the granter at Dysarte in favour of the said Patrick Sinclare: To be held de me, for payment to Henry, Lord Synclar, the granter's father, of four bolls white salt for the pan, and twelve pence Scots for the granary, in name of blench farm. With precept of sasine addressed to William Symsone. At Dysert 22nd July 1585 |
