Witnesses, David Home, minister of Colbrandispeth, Andrew Touris, Laurence Gray, messenger, George Mak and Richard Cas, notaries public.
In dorso:- Memorandum that the bailie gave sasine to Thomas Lamb in Ethingtoun, attorney for the said John Touris, on 5th March 1583. Witnesses, Robert Auch .....? in Fyschevik, Robert Hude, there, William Hendersoun and William Morevill in Fyschevik.
Signed by the granter. The seal of the monastery is attached:- A full length figure of the Virgin with nimbus (no crown visible) standing on a corbal holding on her right arm the Child also with nimbus. Foliage on background. Legend (Goth. 1. c.) Sigillum comune monasterii de coldinghame. |
