Instrument of Sasine under the hand of James Johnnestoun, clerk of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, narrating that Mr. Robert Lyntoun, advocate, in terms of a contract of marriage entered into between him, on the one part, and Mr. Alexander Sym, advocate, for himself and Margaret Sym, his daughter, on the other part, gave sasine propriis manibus to the said Margaret Sym, his wife, in liferent, of the templar lands called Newzeirfeild, lying in the lordship of St. John, preceptor of Torphichen, parish of Levingstoun and sheriffdom of Lynlythqw, under reservation of the liferent of Barbara Hammiltoun his mother. Sasine given upon the ground of said lands upon 5th March 1583-4 |
