Title |
Discharge by Thomas Home of Corsrig granting that he had received from David Home of Fyscheweik, his brother, "ane croun off the sone of gold" for redemption of the town and lands of Fyscheweik, with the fishings thereof, lying in the sheriffdom of Berwick, and that the said lands were lawfully redeemed in terms of the letter of reversion granted by him. Description |
Witnesses Mr. Archibald Cwmmyng, brother of Johne Cwmmyng of Cowtie, Robert Campbell, writer, John Giffane, servant to Mr. Richard Strang, advocate, and William Smith.
The granter signs with his hand at the pen led by Gilbert Thorntoun, notary. His seal is attached:- 1 and 4. A lion rampant (surmounted on a fess). 2 and 3. (A fess between) three papingos.
