Title |
Instrument of Resignation and Sasine under the hand of John McKnedar, clerk of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, narrating that Nicolas Mirrie, burgess of Air, resigned the north half of his two tenements, back and fore, with yards and pertinents, built and joined into one whole large tenement on the fore-parts thereof, lying on the east side of the High Street of said burgh between the tenement of Patrick Richie, burgess of the said burgh, on the one part, and the back- tenement of the late William Myller, afterwards of William Cuthbert, and the foretenement of John Myller, flesher, on the other part, into the hands of George Kennedy, one of the bailies of said burgh, in favour of Thomas Mirrie, his son and heir apparent, to whom the bailie gave sasine upon the ground of said lands on 9th November 1575, under reservation of the liferent of Margaret Rankene, relict of the late Robert Mirrie |
