Title |
Letters of Tack (much injured by damp) by Patrick Hamiltoun of Livyngstoun, with consent of Johnne Cockburne of Clerkyngtoun, his tutor, James Hammiltoune of Kingscavill, his father, and Agnes Cokburne, his mother, liferentrix of the lands aftermentioned, granting to Thomas Rechisoune, son of Alexander Richisoune in Breygh, 2 merklands in Breigh in the sheriffdom of Lynlythgw, for 19 years from Whitsunday 1575, at a yearly rent of 4 merks Scots, 8 poultry fowls at Martinmas yearly, and 8 "dayworkis of scheiring in harwest", with other services used and wont, payable to the said Agnes and James during their lifetime and thereafter to the granter.
