Letters of Gift by George, Earl of Erroll, liferenter, and Andro, Master of Erroll, fiar, of the earldom of Erroll, whereby for thankful service done to them by their cousin and servitor, Williame Kynman of Hyll, they grant to him a piece of their moor and lands lying next adjacent to his lands of Hyll, "fra the northwest end of the marche dyke betuix the landis of Hill and Mains of Erroll linialie towart the northwest to ane marche stane set one the southsyde of the commoune gait that passis fra the houssis of the said manys to the toun of Lornye, and linialie fra the said marche stane to ane uthir marche stane set at the marche dyke betuix the saidis landis of Hill and toun and landis of Lornye": To be held of the granters and their successors in all time coming and declaring that sasine taken at the lands of Hill shall be sufficient for both lands.
