Title |
Obligation by James, Earl of Murray, Lord Abirnethie, Regent of Scotland, whereby, on the narrative that he had wadset the town and lands of Phisswik with the fishings thereof and pertinents lying in the sheriffdom of Berwik, under reversion containing £1000 Scots, to Jhone Home of Blacater, who thereafter within the town of Berwik "at our lait going to Ingland" paid to him another £1000 Scots, he bound himself to deliver back to Home the first reversion in order to be cancelled and granted that the said lands could not be redeemed in virtue thereof but only by the second reversion containing the sum of £2000 Scots.
