Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Herbert Cunynghame, clerk of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, narrating that in terms of the preceding charter John Hanyng, with consent of Jonet Maxwell, his spouse, gave sasine to John Scot of the said five shilling lands lying in Glengaber, under reversion of £40 Scots, repayable in the parish church of Halywod on receiving 40 days warning. Scot grants to Hanyng a tack of the lands for the period they remain unredeemed at a yearly rent of £4: 8/- Scots, the latter relieving him of the feu-ferms and other duties and services payable to the commendator of Halywood, superior of the lands. Done upon the ground of said lands on 30 November 1566 |
