Discharge by David Bruce of Kynnerd granting that he had received from Mr. Edwerd Bruce of Ester Kennet the sum of £20 Scots in part payment of the sum of £40 contained in a contract (acted in the Books of the Official of Lothian) entered into between him and the late Nyniane Bruce, his son, on the one part, and the said Mr. Edwerd on the other part, and binding himself to warrand him at the hands of Jonete Bruce, daughter of the said Nyniane.
